There's a mysterious box in my garden, and I have no idea what its purpose is. The top and sides are made of wire screening, as you can see above. Inside is a mound of dirt with some kind of moss-like plant growing on it (and a few other plants mixed in). There are also a couple of pieces of wood in the box, as you can see below.
And here's a close-up of the plant...it looks moss-like from a distance, but maybe not so moss-like up close. If you can tell me what type of plant this is, or what use I might have for the screen box, it would be much appreciated!
